Meet Author Evelyn Sola

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?

My last release (5/2/2025). Game Change is a lovers to enemies to lovers, office romance. I had a vision of a man shirtless man on vacation wearing Crocs. From that, Game Change was born.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?

    I have a desk, but I hardly ever use it. I write while sitting on my side of the couch while true crime stories play in the background.

Are you a plotter or a pantster?

I'm definitely a pantser. My idea of plotting is deciding on the trope and main character names. 

Which titles are you bringing to IRAE? All of them!

What’s your writing process? I try to sit down and write 2000 words per day. That's the advice Stephen King gives, and he's somewhat a successful author.

What are you looking forward to at IRAE?

Meeting the readers, reuniting with my old author friends and making new ones.

Evelyn Sola is a Boston native, wife, mother, and wine enthusiast. If she’s not writing, thinking about writing, you will find Evelyn with a book in her hands. While a new publisher, she’s been writing for years, and she will continue to write for many years to come. 

Evelyn is obsessed with assertive and confident men who will stop at nothing to get their woman. Her stories are filled with love, passion and humor.

She currently lives in Chicago, IL with her husband and two daughters.
